Who We Are…

In a busy New York City hospital, we met through our shared passion for supporting families at one of life’s most powerful crossroads—birth and the early days of parenthood. As we worked side by side, we found ourselves deep in conversation about the patients we were caring for, trading ideas, stories, and strategies to better support them. Those moments of collaboration sparked something more.

With every delivery, every feeding, and every quiet question in the middle of the night, we walk alongside parents as they navigate the unknown. Our work is rooted in clinical expertise, but it’s shaped by presence, patience, and deep respect for the transition into parenthood. We’ve seen the joy, the fear, the strength, and the tender moments that often go unseen.

This blog was born out of those early conversations and our shared desire to bring meaningful guidance to more families. It’s a glimpse into the real experience of having a baby today—from the delivery room to the first days at home. Through honest reflections and practical insight, we hope to offer support, reassurance, and connection to anyone walking this path.

Welcome to our world, where new life begins, and we are honored to care for the people who bring it into the world.

With Love,

Kirsten and Carole

When parents arrive on the postpartum unit already When parents arrive on the postpartum unit already understanding the basics of breastfeeding, it makes a huge difference.

Instead of spending time explaining the fundamentals from the beginning, nurses can focus on the hands-on support that really helps, positioning, latch, and getting breastfeeding off to a strong start.

That’s exactly why we created the Breastfeeding Blueprint Workbook + Course, so parents can walk into the hospital already prepared for those first days.
